The project grew out of a partnership between the ICD (Indio da Costa Design), responsible for design and architecture, and CNAME (Capilano Naval Architects and Marine Engineers), responsible for all engineering. The interaction between art and exploitation, design and functionality, beauty and comfort led to something never seen in the nautical market. The dream to navigate and enjoy the convenience and sophistication aboard finally becomes reality. The luxury won freedom to cross oceans.

To materialize this dream, the Capilano Yachts chose the paradise of Angra dos Reis as the stage. The Capilano Shipyard was built in prime location, next to the entrance of the largest nautical pole of Latin America. Employees have been trained and qualified by CNAME to use the most modern manufacturing processes in composite materials and following the strictest quality controls and unmatched finish.

The hall comprises all the width of the vessel and its side is all glass. This allows maximizing internal area, and gives you an incredible visibility. Another consequence of this innovation is that the Flybridge also goes to the edge of the boat, gaining a large outdoor area and even allowing the inclusion of a whirlpool. The structural design was done in accordance with the rules of Bureau Veritas' Rules for the Classification and the Certification of Yachts NR500 ", and was checked against finite element mathematical model considering the nonlinearity of composite materials. The entire structure of the boat was scaled to support the loads of the most striking storms recorded and built with the best materials available composites.

The hull form is designed to be as versatile as possible. Depending on the engine that the customer chooses, the vessel can both have low cruising speed of 13 knots, with a range of 3,000 nautical miles for any crossing, or a more powerful engine with a cruising speed of up to 30 knots.
